On January 3, 2017, Representative Al Green began his seventh term serving Texas’ 9th Congressional District. Rep. Green sits on the Financial Services Committee and serves as Ranking Member on the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. He attended Tuskegee University, Florida A&M University, and Howard University. Before receiving an undergraduate degree, he enrolled in the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1973. Rep.
